Ideas for a black, white, and red themed sweet 16 birthday party...?

Ok, so my birthday is in the dead middle of March so having something outside is a little... chilly. I'm having everything be black, white, and red. Everyone dress to impress black and white and then I'm gong to wear a red dress. I don't know if i want it long or short yet. That's one thing. LONG OR SHORT??? And i want to have a two-teared cake. Black and white of coarse. And then I'm stealing my friends white Christmas lights and hanging them everywhere so that will be the only lighting. But I don't really want to have a guest book that people sign, I kind of what something more creative. Any ideas??? And help with food??? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
