Do nicknames as full names annoy you?

It kind of bothers me too. I think the parents should use the full name (like Maxwell or Madeline) and call them by the nickname because, to me at least, it looks very unfinished and won't age well. But, really, it's up to the child's parent and they should name their baby whatever they like, its their choice :)
