Can I repair a 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid myself?

I'm thinking of getting a 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid. I currently have a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo and have changed the alternator, starter, shocks, brakes, and thermostat myself. Can I make the same repairs on the Escape Hybrid? Are they as easy to work on as the normal Ford Escape?
