Ibanez guitar?

today and i played some guitatrs. I have been playing for about 3 years now. I still have my starter electric guitar epiphone special model. I think its time for an upgrade so i playrd an Fender strat(hated it) then got my hands on an Ibanez RG4EXQM1 LOVED IT its around 450. I have a bit higher of a budget so like any other guitars like 500-600 that are good. Also i play like santana with slides and everything then move on to rock. SO i play mostly rock and stuff. I loved the tone of the ibanez. Whats the next step up from that guitar. I dont like epiphone cause i already got a special model and an Epiphone les paul isnt a huge upgrade.
