Kobe bryant and ron artest.what?!?!?

Artest was not DRAFTED by the Lakers, he was not in the Draft, he was a Free Agent and Signed with the Lakers. Yes I think Artest will bring a defensive tenacity to the Lakers that has been missing. Artest knows the Lakers are Kobes team and would not have signed if he had a problem with that. They are actually good friends. What you saw in the Playoffs was simply two very competitive guys going hard at it. What happens on the floor stays on the floor. Artest want a ring and knows where to go get one. He even took a cut in pay to play with the Lakers!
