Grip is loose after regripping?

I have gripped with a lot of different grips and have seen that only happen when the of the grip is not set against the of the shaft securely, this leaves some solvent in the and will cause the grip to slip. The diameter was larger than the core size of the grip so the fit was off some but it still should have fit. I use the multicompound on my clubs and never had a problem with slippage but next time you regrip, tap the end of club on floor to secure fit. Three wraps on a .630 is alot and makes for a large grip, you may have to regip it but use a new one and it does that some grip longer to dry on certain shafts, don't know why but it does. How long did you wait before?
