Can a propane tank be enclosed?

I just thought i would add this ,, before you get a 100 gal. check to see if you can save per unit cost with a larger tank. some companies have 100 gal min del..if your going to be using this to heat your house, 100 gal. kinda small,, i would get a larger tank ,. when you get a winter storm and they cant get to you, well? you need to plan for at least a week or 2 reserve. ,,but that wasnt your ? , I used to live on propane so thought i should toss that in. I know you will get the other answer.
